Simple weave book ENGLISH (signed)

SEK 270.00

The idea of this book was born when I started to sell my hand carved heddles and got a lot of questions about how I carved them, and how and what to weave with them. It became clear to me that I needed to make a written material about this, so I asked my publisher if they were interested. And they were!

This is my third book and it is all about making your own weaving tools and what you can weave with them. It is written for people who don’t have the space for a full-sized loom, or people who want to try out lightweight weaving as a compliment to their big looms. It spans from tiny weaves like 4 mm wide bands to tea-towels and computer cases, and the photos are accompanied by illustrations (also drawn by me!) to help explain my directions given in the different projects.

This book is a great introduction to weaving for beginners, as it introduces you to the basic elements of weaving in a comprehensive level. If you are a skilled weaver I am hoping you will delight in the swiftness of a simple weave setup that allows you to make swatches and small projects in a convenient and versatile way.
