This is a distaff, a type of textile tool intended for winding your wool around when you spin yarn. It measures 52 × 3,2 cm. It is made of birch wood from a piece I was gifted by my neighbor and I have also painted it with linseed oil paint. The distaff is signed with my name glyph at the bottom of the handle. It’s backside is painted but flat without carved details, except for my name glyph on the handle.
